Gota Brume is tonal Kantha — deep purple, plum, and mauve moving in vertical stripes through the cloth, the hand stitching binding them into a surface that shifts between colour and shadow.
A gold brocade border anchors the hem, grounding the cooler tones above. White and gold Gota lace embroidered with floral motifs traces the full front opening. A cord tie with tassel allows it to be worn open or softly fastened at the waist. The reverse — an olive Kantha ground with quiet floral motifs — offers an entirely different character beneath.
