Devi Forêt is worked in 100% cotton velvet: deep forest green carried under a trail of fuchsia and plum, worked in bharwa (a traditional filled embroidery) with dual-tone thread. Florals and scrollwork move across the front, sleeves and back. On the front, two vines rise in mirrored rhythm from hem to shoulder, unfolding into fan-shaped blooms. Across the back, a pair of blooms grows from a single stem, framed by curling scrolls.
The silhouette is Japanese: dropped shoulders and wide, fluid sleeves, cut to fall softly on the body rather than shape it. A single button closes the front, with two pockets set into the side seams. Inside, a classic burgundy cotton lining carries the house signature, along with a small detail left for the wearer alone to find.
